An author, with a vision to empower mothers, approached us to create a brand identity for her debut book New Creation Mother, which also served as the foundation for her personal brand. At the time, she had just the book’s name and a rough draft, but she knew she needed an identity that would reflect the profound, transformative journey of motherhood and parenting.
We started by presenting several logo options that captured her vision of strength, growth, and inspiration. She chose a type-based, bold, and beautiful wordmark that conveyed both elegance and resilience. From there, we developed a comprehensive brand guide that was in perfect alignment with her mission and spoke directly to her target audience—women and mothers.
When it came to designing the book cover, we presented three concepts. The final choice was one that stood out for being metaphorical rather than literal—incorporating flowers as symbols of growth, nurturing, and spirituality. This visual approach perfectly mirrored the themes of the book, setting the tone for a journey of self-discovery and empowerment.
